Obdara Trio: Walfrido Domínguez and Elena Zucchini (guitars), and Bartolomé García (clarinet)

The training recreates the richness of Cuban and Afro-Cuban popular rhythms. In their search for colors, echoes and atmospheres, the three interpreters take the instruments beyond their conventional use and both the clarinet and the guitars stop being wind and strings, to explore other timbres and become traditional percussion instruments of music. Afro-Cuban or evoke the rhythm of the Santiago de Cuba Carnival troupes.
