Christopher Avilez (guitar)

Renowned Mexican guitarist Christopher Avilez offers a presentation concert for his project “Al pie del volcán”, a recording of unpublished music for guitar by the 19th century Peruvian composer Pedro Ximénez Abril y Tirado (1784-1856). The work of this important musician was discovered 20 years ago after being hidden for a century and a half.
